2026 Predictwind Wingfoil National Champs
The PredictWind 2026 NZ Wingfoil National Champs will be held for the first time in Wellington at Worser Bay Boating Club from March 13th - 15th, as the club celebrates its 100th year.
This milestone makes a fitting backdrop for the future of the sport, showcasing the new generation of foiling sailors in one of New Zealand’s most iconic sailing venues. Competitors can look forward to three days of fast-paced racing and world-class wingfoiling action in Wellington’s famous winds.
Hosted by Worser Bay Boating Club, this premier national event will bring together New Zealand’s top wingfoilers to battle it out for national titles across multiple divisions including a fun social division!
Key Points
There are a lot of pros are coming from out of town and overseas which will be good to watch!
The Social Fleet is a fun event for the community. If you can get up on foil then you should enter. The entry fee is $65 and the first 50 entries get a free t-shirt.
Waterspeed. There are two online pre New Zealand Wingfoil Nationals challenges (sprint and distance) in the lead up to the event to build momentum and spark some friendly rivalry.
